On the 27 September, the members of the Artists Circle participated in a gallery walk and art demos at CORAH on the NSCC Campus, Middleton. This exhibit was organized by Jennifer Weisman the coordinator of CORAH. Many thanks to Jennifer for organizing this exhibit which run until the middle of December.
Christine Ritchie who coordinated the exhibit on behalf of the Artists Circle, introduced the members who would be presenting demos. The artists presenting demos were Allison Meisner, Aprille Janes and Judith Dodd.
First to present a demo was Allison Meisner on creating art with a gel press. Allison provided a recipe to make the gel press and created several art pieces using the gel press.
Aprille Janes created a beautiful sunset in watercolors using just three colors. The results were just amazing. Aprille has a course planned for in the spring using just three colors to create a piece of watercolor art. And Judith Dodd’s presentation was on Bokeh painting. This technique caught the interest of all who attended, just an amazing way to create some beautiful effects in a painting.
