I first learned oil painting 40 plus years ago through adult education sessions at Moncton High School and pursued my art for a few years after that.  However, after moving to various parts of Canada to pursue my career time was limited to devote to art.  Since retiring in 2013 and moving to the Annapolis Valley, I have returned to painting and focused on improving my technique.  I continue to paint in oil focusing on landscapes and seascapes.  Nova Scotia and the Annapolis Valley provide an abundance of images for my subject matter.  I have learned more techniques by observing and, on occasion, working with local artists.  I have sold art through the Valley Regional Hospital and through local markets and restaurants.
