I am a contemporary neurodivergent artist who will always be a perpetual student of the arts. I was born and raised in the Annapolis Valley. I am primarily self-taught, but my art would not be where it is today without encouragement and mentoring from David Ritchie (deceased) and Christine Ritchie (no relation to David). I have also taken classes with Tom Forestall, Ron Hayes, Aprille Janes, Helen Opie and NSCADs Bob Williams.
I am a chromophile who loves Impasto and texture. My art is often but not always inspired by nature as well as the ocean, salt water runs in my veins. It is my wish for my art to bring you JOY! I am passionate about supporting anyone who wants to create art (all abilities) as well as emerging artists, the 2SLGBTQIA community, and being an advocate for mental health through art.
