After retirement, I moved to the beautiful Annapolis Valley and pursued my interest in art.  Although, I have used oils and watercolours, my preferred medium is acrylic.  I now enjoy working on seascapes, lighthouses, flowers, blueberries and birds.  Besides four years of weekly art lessons, I am presently part of a group of local artists who meet once a week, both of which helped in improving techniques.  My paintings have sold at the Apple Bin Gallery at the Kentville Hospital, local markets and restaurants in addition to private sales and commissions
