I am a local artist from Nictaux, Nova Scotia.  I am self-taught and started painting in the 1970s.  My initial medium was oil but I now paint mostly in Acrylic and have dabbled in water colours.  I do seascapes, landscapes and flowers, etc. My paintings are displayed on walls across the provinces in Canada and also in the Netherlands.  I have done some commissioned work.

I gave up painting for a period when my family was growing up and when I started working outside of my home.  Since my retirement, I have started to paint again.  I paint with a group of ladies in Paradise every Tuesday.  My paintings have been on display in the Paradise Cafe and will be going on display at the Kentville Hospital and the Middleton Bistro.
