I began painting in oils in Alberta in my early teens and now work primarily in watercolours and acrylics. I moved to Nova Scotia in my early twenties and lived, worked and raised my family on the beautiful South Shore. A retired registered nurse, I always painted, participating in many workshops and classes over the years, and exhibited and sold paintings in various galleries and shows.
I moved to the Annapolis Valley four years ago following family here, and am now an avowed valley girl with family and friends nearby. I enjoy the people, the seascapes, landscapes and the Big Skies of the Valley. I most especially enjoy painting in plein air.
